Where the numbers come from

The source

Every number starts from official WSL Championship Tour results, heat by heat. We don’t estimate scores or infer results from highlights — if it isn’t in the official record, we don’t use it.

The check

Nothing goes out before an independent audit. That means cross-checking sources against each other and looking specifically for the mistakes that are easy to make with heat data — a missing heat, a duplicated one, a result that doesn’t add up.

We’d rather skip a stat than publish one we’re not sure about.

What we don’t do

• No guessing at a number we don’t have.
• No filling a gap silently — if data is missing, we say so or leave it out.
• No publishing a stat that two sources disagree on until it’s resolved.
